A small, but very interesting exhibition of Sabine Jesse-Kniesel drawings

What a great start it was for our new gallery, which will soon be preparing for Steven Bramble’s work in Art Week Exeter at the end of May.

In the meantime the gallery gave a briefish home to a few witty drawings by Sabine Jesse-Kniesel, a German artist who was a spirited exhibitor in our past life on May Hill in Gloucestershire, as was Philip Weaver whose pages from a sketchbook mix lively drawings with journalistic descriptions. Not a big exhibition, that will come later, but a very interesting one!

Gordon Hill’s colourful expressions will remain up for a while, until his exploration of trees in various landscapes takes its place.
