Inspirational events at Studio 36!

Drawing blindfold! An exercise from the recent drawing workshop at Studio 36, taken by Penny Somerville.

That workshop and the one taken by Marcus Wylie the following weekend were unusual and led to some inspirational work by participants. The poetry reading in the evening was well attended and enhanced by the guitar playing of Rupert Oxlade from Maker / Maker a shop and ukulele centre just round the corner from the Studio.

Open Studios

We had a really good open studios, and luckily no rain so visitors seemed to enjoy the garden, and rewardingly for Tamsin and Veronica to enjoy the studios, while the two artists much enjoyed meeting and talking to visitors!

Projects brewing for 2013!

After the Christmas and New Year holidays Studio 36 is now open once again, by appointment. Various intriguing and exciting projects are brewing for 2013 and we welcome further ideas for happenings throughout the year!

Weekly socially-distanced gatherings at Studio 36

Owing to the recent demise of a tree in our garden, there will shortly be more sheltered space available for events!

To this end Aqeel Abdulla, an experienced drama facilitator and lecturer, has joined forces with us to set up weekly socially-distanced gatherings. Read on below to find out more.
